Our Mid-Year Review.
Halfway through 2025, we’ve made remarkable strides in all areas of operation. As we continue development in our different product teams, we are uncovering exciting solutions for space daily.
Our products are aimed at forging more direct, resilient links within spacecraft, between spacecraft, and between spacecraft and the ground. With the goal of propelling us towards more productive work in space, we provide flexible, straightforward solutions to seamlessly connect all ground and space assets.
With new mechanical design experts on our team, we’re making exciting developments with eTAP.  Our engineer developing an eTAP demo. | As our electro adhesion-based solution for in-space attachment, eTAP’s development provides a solution for a general docking or attachment method for the thousands of spacecraft without any custom docking or attachment features. Exploring innovation for adaptive electroadhesion design and repeatable testing, our development remains focused on propelling eTAP towards in-space validation. |
How do we keep the software on our GigRouters up-to-date? It’s all made possible by the fantastic functionality built by our incredible software team!
In the past couple of months, our software team has coordinated multiple software updates with our external partners on their delivered GigRouter units. With members scattered across the country, our team provides remote support to our customers as they uptake new software releases.
Every six weeks, we collaborate with customers to bring new GigRouter features such as A/B boot support, API endpoints for custom configurations, telemetry enhancements, and bugfixes. Our team also focuses on improving customer guidance resources with updated documentation, added functional test tools, and an expanded public GitHub repository.

With our new products, the GigCompute and GigSwitch, we continue to propel forward our effort to enable seamless connections in space.
Cambrian Works’ GigCompute (Model GC-002003)
An advanced payload computer, the GigCompute is a powerful edge-computing system that provides multiple 10GigE ports for connectivity. The GigCompute ingests and processes data with high-performance CPUs and GPUs while providing the same unrivaled ethernet routing capability as the GigRouter with roughly ⅔ of the mass and volume.
Cambrian Works’ GigSwitch (Model GS-008008)
With the new GigSwitch, you can centralize your data routing through one higher capacity network appliance. This revolutionary networking platform, ruggedized for space, zeros in on managed switch routing, with more 10GigE and 1GigE ports.
With these new products, we are extending and foreshadowing networking capability for multi-orbit space systems and operations, while remaining internet compatible. We are providing the infrastructure to broaden the potential for new applications and business opportunities that leverage space platforms.
